I was going through the snowmobile today. Put new chain case oil in Only $4 for amsoil. topped off coolant. And then I was going to check the plugs thanks to the NGK thread posted last night and noticed the part that screwed on the top where the plug wire boot goes on was missing on oneand it wasn"t in the boot. The electrode on the plug looked fine and always ran fine. I was just wondering if it would have made that Cylinder run a little goofy. I bought it 650 miles and now has 880 on it. Any input would be appreciated. Also there was an Arctic Cat that caught fire last night at a stop on the trail. It is about a half mile from my front window. Rear skid and motor looked to be all that was left when they put i.t out

They will run without the tips but you can loose spark hitting bumps and such not something you want to deal with, i agree with the solid tips i usualy run them but sometimes run the type with the ends that screw off when i can't find the solid tip.
Any idea why the sled caught fire? Carbs flooding, melted hood, overheated turbo???

not sure why it caught fire. but there a flatbed tow truck with a skid an motor and formula three my guess maybe a collision. now there is a giant patch of dirt in the middle of the trail
