Rivets Or The Lack Of?

i ordered a selection of rivets from the dealer and most of them are on back order.go figure! for those who have used bolts instead what size / type did you use? i have a gram scale and a belt sander so that's no problem. guessing some red loctite would come in handy as well. i am guessing these will not be in tomorrow just like the helix that i ordered last week aint here either.

all I use are nuts and bolts..I bring my mini grma scale to the hardware store with me and just weight a nut, bolt and washer combo till i have what i need.

sure but are they like 1/4 20 0r 5mm or what?
