I got a yamaha SL338c,not sure on the year, its a fan cooled engine and the oil injection is removed. What should i mix my gas and oil at?

40:1 would be a safe mixing ratio. You could probably even go 50:1. I mix my chainsaws, leafblower and trimmer at 50:1, run them wide-open pretty much all the time and Ive never grenaded a motor.

if you mix ONE OUNCE to ONE QUART,,, (FOUR ounces per gallon),,,, you would come up with a ratio of 32 to 1... At 32 to 1,,, you are ASSURED to have enough oil and wouldn't you rather replace spark plugs because of too much oil,,, rather than replacing the ENTIRE ENGINE because of not enough oil???? Synthetic oils (some) lubricate as lean as 100 to 1,,,but,,, WHY CHANCE IT????

It's made by CITGO and CHAVEZ owns CITGO and FUNNELS MONEY into KILLING our AMERICAN SOLDIERS,, other than that,,,, it could be purchased for HALF the price at Walmart and Kmart under 20 different brand names!!!!

Yamalube is good oil. So what if its made by Citgo which is owned by Huge Chavez? You would be hard pressed to find any oil which at some point in the process doesnt at least help fund terriorists.

Watch out on how much oil you mix, cause the more oil mixed means the less gas burned. This could create a lean condition. I use Amsoil HP injector, or Dominator. Good Sh-t there!!
