OEM parts

Yup, I did my whole top end, used Rich

Here's a comparison with rough estimates.

From Rich - US - 530ish for my parts
From local dealership here in Canada - 949 + 13% tax CANADIAN...

I had to wait for them to be shipped, but it was a no branier...would have been even better if I bought when the canadian $$$ was better but still saved over 250 bucks after shipping, conversion, duty etc.

yamahaparts depot.com have good prices but you will wait 7- 10 days or longer for your parts.

Rich is faster, and usually cheaper than the local guy.
There is other places online also..
extremeparts.com I think thats the link.

what about psep.biz? that seems to be the cheapest place i can find parts. rebuilds are weisco though...

I agree on the depot cheap, but slow Port is hard to beat overall.

Hey
This is Chad, I own www.YamahaPartsDepot.com
I saw this thread with our site on it, I just wanted to say we appreciate your business. It does take up to 10 days to recieve parts from us. Thats because we just like any dealer we cant stock everything, but we do enough volume that we are on a 2 day ship from Yamaha for all of our parts.
Many times you get the parts faster, just depends where you live.
We do want to save you money, and make us a little money as well,
if you ever need any help please email us at
parts@yamahapartdepot.com

have a great year, and dont break anything!
Chad.

I know everyone says you have to use OEM, but I put "OEM Type" piston and rings in from Als snowmobile in my SRX and they work fine. Paid $60.00 for a piston and rings and I had it in 2 days!!!!
