My tarp for my MM is shot, need to know if you guys have any insight into a possible better alternative to a factory cover or is the Yammie stuff as good as it gets....

I have found when I trailered my sleds on an open trailer that the Yamaha covers were the best: best fit and most durable. I covered the sled with the yamaha cover then put one of those plastic work tarps over the Yamaha cover to keep the majority of the crud off the sled. I tried non-OEM covers and they never lasted very long.
Have a look to see if Skinz makes a cover for you. They seem to get good reviews. One of the site sponsors should be able to get you one. http://www.skinzprotectivegear.com/snowmobilegear.html about halfway down the page.
