What kind of pistons do you guys find most reliable, stock yammy, wiesco, spi, forged, cast. Around here opinions are like assholes--everybody's got one but no two are the same.

Pretty much if you are gonna daily ride it go with OEM pistons...if you are gonna race it or watever ive heard wisecos

in a stock sled/bore OEM hands down!!!! no comparison....

Stock srx pistons for 98-02 are powder forged pistons.

If your replacing older (98/99) SRX 700 pistons order ones for the 00-02 engines they have a factory applied coating on them but are otherwise the same.

Use the OEM Yamaha from 00-02.
