Hi guys,
I have been reading the post in the last few days and done some research on the tech pages to set up my 03 viper Er with 96 pics down the middle. I would like to get the best trail setup for the least amount of money. I see there are 2 setups I have been looking at. 53/43 with a green spring everything else stock or the 51/43 also with the green spring. I ride groomed trails and want a somewhat of a aggressive setup. Could you guys tell me which would be the best setup for my riding and where i should purchase the parts ? Also you talk about a 60 or 70 wrap on the secondary which would I use and is it easy to do?

i have heard a 53/43 dalton with a green spring at 60 wrap is a good set up
for vipes not sure on how the primary is loaded tho..try a search or PM Turk..
you want to spin 84-8600 WOT for peak HP.

I ran a 53/43 mirobelmont with 4.5gr rivets in both holes stok 8ek viper weights, and green spring at 70deg. worked well. but my HC's blow it away

Thats what I have heard. I am going to try the the 53/43 with the green spring with 4.5g on the tips and see how that works. Thanks for you input.
