Got my xcr suspension today for the 94 vmax, really doesnt loook like it will be too hard to fit to the vmax 600.Now here,s the rub ,the unit is from a 2000 800 xcr polaris but it does not have shocks .All i seem to be able to find is fox shocks for this unit ,is that all i can get for it ?Any suggestions guys ?It sure looks like a beautiful suspension and my back really needs the extra 10 for sure.

Fox shocks came stock on your skid, get the factory replacements, you'll enjoy it. Got an Xtra-10 on my SRX with the FOX shock setup. It's a whole lot better than the Noaction I took out of it. If you look at my avatar, you can see it is an X-tra 10.

Though your sleds differnt than mine when you put the skid in did you put it with the rear mounting position unchangeds and then adjust the front to fit or ?Where do i get the shocks ,royal distributing or dealer for polaris?

Go to jbshocks.com, you will find all of your measurments there. Go to Tech Related, and then X-tra 10 mounting.

The fox shocks are pretty decent. The only complaint I have on my 00 xc xtra 10 is that the scraper seal is a little wimpy on the fox shocks and allows moisture to get in easier than it should.

So, you end up rebuilding the fox shocks a little sooner than they really should be done.

look on ebay, the rear should be a PPS, or position sensitive if you want it stock. It is a nice setup.
