Is it correct that the servo motor would "run" or make noise when the key is in the on position with the engine NOT running?
I wonder if it will run the battery down if the key is left in the on position over night or in the trailer for a long time or will it time out and stop? Will it bother anything else?
The reason it is new to me is that I just installed the electric start to a standard Viper. I swapped out the entire wire harness from an ER when I installed so everything should function as an ER typically would.
Thanks.

yes on ER's the servo is activated(energized) with the key on engine off and i would say yea it'll drain the batt.

Guess I just need to remember to pull the key all the time now and not just hit the kill switch.
Thanks, just glad to know I don't have something mis-wired.
