Thank you all for the help with my last thread about my stator going out, I ordered a new stator I have never removed the fly wheel or stator, I Have a manual but there are not pictures (Iam visual) can you point me to a proper flywheel puller? also any odd tools Ill need to do this job? Hell anything you have run into doing this job! Thank you again! Dan
Go down to auto zone and borrow a harmonic balance puller. Thats what i used when i did'nt have one.
Yep , Just llike yammy said get a harmonic damper puller.Make sure you get the correct metric bolts for it. When you install the damper crank in some pressure ( sometimes lots of pressure) and then tap the flywheel with a hammer and it should break loose. You can spray the nut and shaft with penetrating fluid and let it set overnight to help abit. You will need a good quality philips screwdriver to remove the pickup coil and stator. If they are real tight set the screwdriver fully onto the screw and tap the driver with a hammer. This sometimes help to break the screw loose.
Good luck
