I have a 97 Phazer that I just picked up thats going through belts pretty quick. What is the proper way to align the clutches? Also, the secondary should not move on the shaft should it? I think mine's missing some spacers becauce you can move the secondary on the shaft a bit when its parked.
The secondary SHOULD move. about 1/8 inch
Can anyone else give me some advice on making sure my clutches are aligned.

any broken motor mounts?you may want to ask the dealer what center 2 center should be on those sleds & measure & adjust accordinly..
My understanding is that you move the motor mounts, but you will need the allingnment tools to check this. And the Secondary should move on the jackshaft. Some guys lock theres with success but I've never had any luck when I tried it on my SRX.
