Exciter SX CDI on 1991

Hi, can i put SX CDI on 1991 Exciter II for giving more power at my sled?

as far as i know all Exciter CDI boxes were the same from 91-93. the SX did not have a special CDI box. In fact, the 87-90 Exciter CDI boxes are better, Yamaha detuned the EX II's to help prevent the meltdown issues they had with some of the earlier models. find a 87-90 CDI box and run that on your 91.
