I just installed a set of SX ski's which are plastic with deep keel on my son's Phazer. Install was pretty straight forward, I did have to cut a rectangular hole in the aluminum saddle. From start to finish I had about 2 1/2 hours invested, most of the time was prototyping the hole size, I had some trouble also removing on of the original mounting bolt of the steel ski's. After riding the sled with plastic ski's, it moves across the snow much easier, more predictable in the corners, overall much better performing. I would recommend this upgrade to any Phazer or exciter with steel ski's.

Sounds great, im gonna do this to my 96XT with a set of viper ski's. Hope it turns out as nice as yours did. Just going to follow the mod in the tech section.
