hey guys is the mm skid any better than a srx ride wise and does 500 sound like a good price for a 141 skid track and tunnel ext

THe stock MM Yokohama 141 is not worth much.... I would really avoid using it unless you really really have no choice. You could probably come up with a 144 camo setup for about the same if you looked around a little.

k but the skid itself the track would be replaced the skid only has 2000 km on it would it be a decent skid

141

too much, newer style 05 151 pro mnt suspension for sale for $350 can in buy sell in my area with 162 extensions complete

I think guys taking them off Nytro MTXs are about giving them away on Snowest....

I think about $300 - $400 is a good price on a used factory take off skid is reasonable to pay if everything is in good shape...that would be M-series cat, Polaris skids, and Doo SC-III. It'd be worth considering that instead of a Proaction.

yea i searched for skid this morning and cant find any except that mm skid and a wrecked switchback thats being parted out im sure it would be different if i was in your area but around here guys just drive em they dont really screw with swappin stuff out

i think a wrecker would be my best bet but those guys want an arm and legfor everything it seems

RV sports in Thief River Falls, MN sells used cat skids and usually have a few around. I believe they have a website if you do a search.

If you are going to have to drill holes (which you will to got with a factory 141 or 136 from you 121) you might as well get a skid from a cat, doo, poo, and bolt it in. Basically they all work better than the yamaha pro action skid in a deep snow application.

im workin on gettin one a guy near me has a wrecked 06 switchback but he wants 700 for the skid which has bent rails and then another 500 for the stoc track its nuts

That is outrageous for the skid and you could buy a new track for that much. I think RV was asking $400 for a skid with gas shocks last year. Good luck with your search.

Are you trail riding or mountain riding? I have a '00 skid and stock track that I will let go for alot less than $500. But I cannot do anything for atleast a month or 2 due to shoulder surgery. I also have a kinda rough camoplast softer paddle track as well...................SRXtreme

well i ride at the lake i some deeper snow and thru fields but i would like to be able to go to the mountains now and then

i put a skid and track from 07 summit into my 01 srx the tunnels are the same width, i paid 650 cdn for both skid and track.dont be in a hurry if you can ride it the way it is leave it till spring, its a good summer project. you will loose a lot of speed with a big track
