I have a 98 SRX 600 and at idle its backfiring through the exaust on the cylinder closest to the recoil. I took the carbs off and cleaned them and bypassed the TORS, and still no changes. When I take off and ride no problem, it just does it at low rpms. Any ideas?

have you checked plug boots and wires,you sure pilots were clean???
