Gang,
I got the '73 GP-292 running (shorted wire behind the breaker plate) and when I went to drive it out of the barn, the single driver located on the center of the driveshaft crumbled leaving a trail of broken drive behind. It looks to me like it was housed between two clam shells and perhaps may come in two or three peices new. Problem is, I can't find a replacement locally. I felt kind of bad that it broke in my driveway (which is why I never test drive a repaired sled) but I only moved it 12 feet before it broke. I wasn't even sitting on it.
The customer is 82 years old and is real anxious to drive it. She was tickled that its running good but bummed out she can't ride it. I don't plan to charge her anything except for the part and now it seems I'm on a quest to get the old bird riding again.
She also has a mint Rupp Nitro that needs some carb work that I'm sure will end up in my barn but for now she really wants to ride the yami.
Any ideas how I can get a new or used driver so I can get this old Yami rider back on the snow?

i would have to go to my grandmothers and look in the attic of the garage. i saw some of the old track drives/rear axle guides in there back when we where running a 74 gs338. i needed bogey springs at the time and saw them while looking for the springs.
