srx700 stock HP's

just wondering how much hp a stock 99 srx will have? cant find any specs on it. also what manual do you use for repairs? i cannot find one for the 99 srx?

Stock HP was 135 to 138 corrected. What kind of info you after??

I think that hp reading is alittle low, I was leaning more towards the 145hp range, corrected on an average motor, around 152 on a blueprinted one

Yea i think Tom is right, pre 2000's were around 138, after 2000-02's were around 142 or so

Yep Tom's right...you can make more..but it costs $$..

well I've seen dyno sheets of "perfect" SRX motors, and the updated ignition doesn't do as much as yamaha said it did, never thrown un-blueprinted motors on the dyno tho, I'm just guessing. making up more than 10 hp just by getting the ports out to spec and heads down to spec strikes me as alot tho!

just the port I would say maybe 6 hp...you need more to give it 10...I had a 99 srx with heads cut, head pipe mod, mild porting and some reed work did 148 on the dyno...that pretty much is what I am going by and that was not really heavy porting.
