Hi everyone, i am new to the site and this sled and I am having a similar problem , i read/ searched a lot of threads and i am able to ride my 99 srx 700 for about 45 min to a hour and then the head light dims and the it quits! Will not restart have to have it picked up with a truck and trailer. Bring it back home and it has weak spark, let it sit and the spark magical comes back! Seems to only do it when it is hot...??? I was thinking wire rub threw ??? i read a lot of post about the harness under the motor?? can some one give me a little bit better idea of what i am looking for??

Harness under the motor is definitely first thing to check. If not there, then check wiring under tank and seat, if not there, then check wiring under cdi in left footwell--have to lift cdi up to check. Post back with results as you go, lots of helpful/knowledgable people here.
thx , Just found it under the cdi where the wires 90 by the alum v piece! The Orange wire necked, and the red brown and blk wires totally bare wire all the way around and touching each other!!! Thx everyone for all your help! I appreciate it
