IT IS OFFICIALLY -47 C (windchill factured in) here right now in Winnipeg.Think I should go out for a ride on my SRX.Wander if it will even pull over..lol The rest of the week same until Friday.Weird weather because Saturday and Sunday will be -5 C,good to go ridin in. Holy Ice Cube Batman..what is going on here with the temps. This is nuts.

daman!!! this is your type of weather to go riding in I hear. It's not that cold if you dress for it. You'll need a blow torch to get the ice off your face shield...lol

YUP, its making its way to Ontario later tongiht or tomorrow morning...check this craziness out....

All this Celcius stuff. LOL

It's cold here too, and getting colder.

Highs tomorrow are to be zero degrees Fahrenheit. With lows in the negative double digits.

Ahhh hell doug you should be out riding with no gloves!!!!!

she's damn cold here too -15f with the wind,we just need snow!!

well don't laugh about the no glove thing daman. There is a guy at work who told me he rides his sled with no gloves on all all..in all temps.Said his hand warmers are super hot..and he said he wasn't kidding either....go figure.

Well the weather finally turned over here in Fairbanks. It was -52F the other night, and -40F or worse for nearly three weeks straight up unitl today (-5F).

when I went up north to work for the Hudson Bay Company many years back, arrived in Fort Chipewyan,Alberta..it was -52 F that time.Wicked cold.We had to do a Hudson Bay Store Renovation up their. When I asked the store manager where his warehouse was that all the store fixtures where stored. He told me no warehouse. All the stuff came up by barge and unloaded in the field behind the store. All were on pellets covered in plastic. We freaked..he said we would have to dig out all the pellets and bring the fixtures into the store ourselves...I don't think so.My partner and I tried for an hour and quite. We phoned Winnipeg Head Office and told them what was up(as if they didn't know) We were then allowed to hire the local Native's to dig everything up and haul in for us and paid them cash.Of course there where things we couldn't find and we couldn't complete our checklist of materials. They had to then fly in whatever we couldn't find. This was nuts and talk about COLD!!!It registered -52 F the day we arrived. The guy who picked us up at the town's airport had no heat in his truck whatsoever.I was thinking to myself..what am I doing here.Mind you $$$ was great and I was single at the time.

Northern Minnesota, -40*f and -40*c yesterday morning at my house!!!! You know its damn cold when F and C are the same!

This is when carb heaters are nice.

I have -25 on the stick this morn

This is also where running e10 is great:)

I have yet to hear of anyone's carbs freezing up since we switched to oxygenated fuels 15+ years ago.

I hear those 800 doos are great until they blow up, which seems to be a common occurrence.

If I were to buy a doo again, it would be a 600 REV OR XP probably, those seem to be pretty durable, at leaSt the sdi and regular HO ones......
