anyone ride near silver bay mn? if so do you know of any good off trail / unknown good spots?

There is some talk of a bunch of guys on snowest maybe putting together an off trail boondocking day or two in the Isabella area later this winter. Lots of people (including myself) that like that kind of riding, but don't know that area well enough to get very far off the beaten path. The hope/plan is to get some of the locals to act as guides and show us around with out getting too lost and having to spend a night in the Forest.
The guys at Snowmobilefanatics have been doing a ride up in that area the last few years. Might want to check that out. Sounds like their room allotment is pretty well booked up for the planned days.
