We are in the middle of are stay at Towgotee mountain lodge. We are staying till friday 1/16 and arrived on Sunday 1/11. We were very excited when we arrived and went went out right away riding. A local guy we meet on the drive out took us to some spots. Today and yesterday we went with a guide and he took us to a bunch of spots were our "short" track would have fun. The sleds in the pictures are a Nytro XTX 1.25", Nytro 136x1.25", XP 800R 137x1.75", XP 600 SDI 137x1.25" and my Viper 136x2". Yes we have all been stuck a lot of times but not as much as I though. Today I was stuck 6 times and our guide was stuck 3 times. My sled has performed better than I thought, I have had the highmark many times out of our group. Here are some pictures so far and I will keep adding all week. I will also upload some video. Tomorrow I am trying out my helmet cam so I will also try to post those.

Here are some more pictures. I am using photobucket now to help TY servers out a little.
The group I went out with, me on left.
The first three days of the trip are pictured in my first post. We had a guide for 4 days out of the 6 days we were there. After having the guide for 4 days and learning the area fairly well I don't think next time we will use the guide service. We would have only taken the guide for a day or two but with the package deal we got at the Milwaukee snow show it was included for all 6 days. Also included in the package was breakfast, social hour (5-6pm) FREE DRINKS, and dinner. Our average dinner bill was $180 for the 5 of us!!! Steak, Lobster, and tenderloin adds up fast. LOL The package was will worth the it, plus we received 10% off anything we had to pay for at the lodge.... Gas, snack, gear, sled rentals, etc.
We booked a cabin for 5 nights. It was worth the little extra to get the cabin with the fireplace to dry our gear off every night.
You could also stay in a hotel style room at the lodge.

On the fourth day out there we all rented Mountian "Snow Machines". I really wanted to try a M8 but they were all rented already so the RMK was next in line. I was not impressed with the power or throttle response but 155" track was worth it!

What RMK was that? It looks like a 600 RMK shift.

So I am checking out your pics, we are heading to Tog the first week of March, and I see one and I think, dang, that spot looks familiar. No way I thought, Togwotee is like 2,000,000 acres. So I go and look at my Tog pics from March 2005, and... check it out, same place, different angle!
