Does anyone the spring rate on this primary spring? Would it be a good spring to put in my SRX?

Thanks. It was one of the springs I found in my buddies old race box. Would it work in my sled with the right weights? Or is not enough force?

you probably won't like it. not enough preload to have the proper engagement rpms, w/o notching the weights for higher engagement. finish force is pretty light and will require lighter weights, and/or possibly shallow helixs.

By notching the weights do you mean the groove on the weight that the roller is sitting in when the cluch is not engaged? The weights I am using now have that. And I have a 50/42 helix in now.

correct. it will be like a little "pocket" that the roller sits in, and it takes more rpm to get the roller out of it, so you will have higher engagement, w/o changing the primary spring. you can also tuck the weight for higher engagement.

So that spring might work with the proper weights. But I'm kinda up in the air about it because people say that the SRX's really like to have a lot of weight thrown at them. Is this true?
