Do I have to pull the skid to install the minimal snow wheel kit? I think there was once one on the sled as there is one of the "blocks" still on the one rail so the holes are already there. I'm hoping this is a quick and easy install....

I don't have the kit on my machines, but I have seen them.
I don't believe you have to pull the skid, I think they are bolt on blocks with wheels.

You shouldn't have to remove the skid if the holes are already there. You might be able to get away with just loosening the track.

if this is the small wheel kit Im thinking of, I HAD to pull the skid. No way to properly drill out the holes, nor room tom start the bolt.
I also have to grind down the block a bit, as they rubbed on the top of the sliders

Well the holes are already in my rails. One of the blocks is still there. It's the Yamaha kit. Port had them on sale.
