Hi Guys Looking For Some Idea's For A Good Setup For Ice Drags For 660 Ft. Have A 184 Studs Half Picks And Half Cheisels. Put Anti Stab Wheel Kit On It Should You Leave Front Strap On In Looses Poistion Or Take It Off It Will Be In Vintage Super Stock 440 It 1978 Srx Thank For Any Info Any Buddy Has To Offer

you definity want to change gearing! your compition will be set for 660 ft! with stock gearing in your 78 it won't be pretty!
 
TAKER DEAD ON, YOU MUST PULL STRAPS DOWN OR YOU HAVE WHEELIE ISSUES, ESPECIALLY WITH THAT MANY STUDS ON ICE. AND HALF CHISELS. I USED 17-31 IN MY SRX,s FOR 660. 3:16 (yammie tony)
 
Srx Gearing

We Are Pretty Close To The Same 19/35 Is A 1.84 Ratio And 17/31 Is A 1.82 Ratio So We Are Pretty Close 17/31 Is 100.5 Top Speed @ 9800 Rpm And 19/35 Is 99.4 @ 9800 Rpm. Thank For The Info
