sx7r question

It runs good and starts when cold, but when warm it is like there's no spark. I don't think it is a fuel issue it doesn't even pop but will start with lots of pulling any ideas? Thanks.

have you checked the spark sounds like possible airleak in your fuel lines or maybe crank seal. i had a phazer with a bad crank seal an after it warms up itd take 10-or 15 pulls an it turned out to be a crank seal.

I rode it again and it quit. No spark, towed it. Trailer time. Got back, started, drove
on trailer now won't start. Need a stator? Anybody have one?

how about a bad coil?

No spark on all cylinders would have to be all coils.

My Brother n Law's Venture 700 was the same, it turned out to be the stator.

I was just looking yesterday on port yamaha's website and it was like 224 bucks.I have wondered also if a re-wound one would be ok and cheaper or if one should just get a new one.I am considering putting one in mine when I re-ring just because with high mileage and age.Anybody have any thoughts on this?
