Pretty cool, they broke 2 records for the 1000' run in a FULL BODY SNOWMOBILE class on a 15 year old VMax 4 ..!!
Per their quote:
"So we ended up breaking 2 world records. The first being the "Open Lake Racer" world record held by Curtis Johnson of Illinois with a '99 Thunder Cat 1400cc with 3 stages of N20 @ 149.xxx mph in 1000'. We bumped that record by 13 mph."
And:
"This is a "REAL" full-bodied production snowmobile weighing 763 pounds and 15-years old, not a tubular chassis w/ production plastics. The complete turbo kit is 1 off and designed in my garage by me and dynoed @ Glenn Hall's of D&D Racing".
Pretty darn good effort on their part. Gotta love those old Vmax4's.
Of course I am a bit partial to them...LOL

its amazing something that heavy and old can do it. but with the vmax 4 there are 2 things you can bet money on. one for it to get older and the other for it to go faster.
