is that a 78 Exciter.I used to own a 78 Exciter 440.It was my 3rd sled and the best for reliabilty.Just start it and drive.Never ever had a problem with mine, and I put it thru everything. Had 5000 miles on her and traded it in and got an 81 SRX 440 after that. How many miles on your sled???????

you could purchase some plates that will widen the stance and bring forward a bit.Seen it somewhere on a site.

I like the front bumber, the only sled that could touch my 1980 was a 6000 cat.
