Hello All,
What a cool site. I am new in here and have been in here reading
some of the problems and solutions. I have just bought a 1983 SRV.
I have drooled over these sleds when I was a kid and now have one
for cruising around and ice fishing. The guy who had this thing took
amazing care of it no dings or cracks, just a slight rip in the seat.
1. Should my pilot screw be set similar to other posts max. 2 turns?
2. Are there any other carb adjustments on this beast?
I fire it up on full choke from cold, very quickly turn it off and only
touch it a bit to keep it running. I usually let it warm up for about
2 minutes and then go easy on it until good and warm. The second
or third trip out I have fouled plugs. I know this in advance because
I can hear a bit of backfire
Any Ideas/Suggestions?
Doug
