I put his on the Tech forum too, but more people view this and I just want to know if anyone else with an M10 w/ JACK has had this happen in a Yamaha. See pics.

I just bought an M10 used (it is a 2001 M10 that was in a 1998 SRX) and when I pulled the shocks to have them rebuilt I found this (I knew the rear-shock top eyelet was damaged) but was shocked to find the bottom eyelet on the same shock rubbed completely thru.

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm assuming the top was damaged when the top bolt fell out and the prior owner kept riding. But the bottom one had to be rubbing on the track for some time....did he use the wrong hyfax. The seller I bought it from bought it several years ago for his SRX but never installed it, so he has no info on the original installation.

I called FAST and they confirmed that the adapter kit is the right one for the Yamaha Pro-action machine. They are sending me the installation guide, owners manual, and some other parts that were missing.

Any help or advice will be appreciated. Thx

I sent a pm. I would love to have a jack on my M-10 but there so expensive. My advice is to measure twice before you drill ! Make sure you get the template so you get the holes in the tunnel in the right spot.
