Just saw a picture of a Yamaha 300 cc watercooled single with a starter and yamaha clutch?

Would that be from an ATV?

Inviter maybe? '86-'90. Strong candidate for "ugliest sled in the history of the universe" award!

ya i'd say it was an inviter, there was an under-hood pic of one on here somewhere, looks like one of those 600 twins sawed in two!!! I'd say that those little things could scoot pretty good, i'd like to have on to drop in the bravo, now that would be somethin', a liquid cooled bravo!!!! And ClassicSRX i'd say that would be one of the ugliest, if not THE ugliest sled manufactured

It has 293 cc on the side - is that a clue?

I think it would be fun to make a single cylinder mod liquid and try to use the inviter. But around here, thoes sleds are few and far in between. Then when you find one, they all want $600-$800 for the sled

me too!!!!!!! Last week I went to look at a inviter that was on craigslist so I could get a matching set and they wanted 450 bucks for the absolute most beat sled I have ever seen!!!!!! I wish I could have gotten pics it was in creatable that it even ran....Looked like someone took a sledge hammer to it and he was like wow this thing is fun to ride.......He said it was far more reliable then the other to he had (artic cat and polaris)and that he had 900 in the top end on his artic cat......go figure:)

I would say the XLV is uglier than an inviter.

But both are ugly sisters.

I'm sorry you feel that way haha! I just picked these two up for free. ~3500 miles on both but the inviter is beat to crap. I wanna do an ss440 sleeper with the xl-v. Just gotta find an ss seat and trunk.
