Indy 650 cylinders

I have a bud looking to rebuild his RXL and needs a cylinder to replace a damaged one,he has a line on one off an 88 and his is a 92 but we're not sure if they are the same.Does any one have any experience with these 650 engines and the compatibility of components?

don't take this to the bank, but if i remember correctly all the carbed 650's had the same cyl's .the rxl's also had all the same cyl's but the rxl ones have much larger intake ports than the carbed ones.so as long as you get a rxl cylinder you should be good.
