Phazer Top speed???

Anybody know the top speed on a yamaha phazer?

My son's 93 Phazer II long track hit 88.6 on a long road down hill in Minnesota. Temps were around 5*f. This was the fastest he ever had it. This was on GPS. Stock exhaust studed track. He weigh's 110lbs.

i used to race a 91 in 1000 ft it would do 93mph with my brother on it he weighs alot less then me

My stock '94 will haul me 75-80 on a long pull on the dream meter.

i have seen a modified one with twin pipes,sx cut pistons,bender race ported & other stuff with 38 tmx's do 103mph.

My wifes 96 LE will do 80 on the dreamo meter with the clutches slippin

my 88 back in the day when it was tuned, psi, reeds, etc would do low 90's on a ero degree day. The 96 I just bought does mid eightys with the kid on hard packed road.

on day last year('94 phazer half tank gas)-down hill across a lake with a 200 knot tailwind i think i got to about 85 mph. thats what my buddies were reading on there speedos cause i couldn't read mine while i was trying to keep it right side up..............GO PHAZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds about right. For a 60 hp sled, you can't ask for much more than 80 mph on a good day.

My 90' Hit 85mph stock on radar back when I was a sprite 140# teenager, took awhile but I managed to beat a loud mouth kid on his MXZ440. . I'd say 75-80 for an average adult, a few mph slower on the heavy Pro-action chassis phazer.
