anyone have a pic of the coil wiring for a 700 SX? my mag side hole has a problem and i switched the coils around. now i am not sure i have everything back together correctly. i either have a bad coil or no fuel and i am not sure. i have tripple pipes and the mag pipe is cold and the rest are hot so the mag hole is where my problem is. changed the plug and that did nothing so it might be a fuel problem. i have a coil on the way just in case. i have class tonight so i don't have time to look at it. any thoughts????

Cold all the time or just at idle?

You can't really screw up the wiring on the coils. They just connect in a line and the two ends you have left plug in the wiring harness. Since they all fire at the same time you can switch them around in any order you want.

i think just at idle. i did not have much time to mess with it tonight. i was wondering if they all fired at the same time since they are wired in series.i am thinking(hoping) i have plugged pilot. it seems to run fine off idle. it sure seems to idle on 2 cylinders and the plug i just put in there has no color. i am going to test compression and everything else saturday.i did order a coil just to have one. i also ordered new plug wires and boots because 2 of them are way too loose and i want to replace that stuff. i just re built the top end before winter.

I'd guess it's a plugged pilot on that cylinder. My srx is terrible for that. Can usually tell by the sound of it, but an easy way to know which one is to grab the pipes. It's always the cold one:)

its the mag side cylinder. last year i did not clean the carbs and i had no trouble. this year i have cleaned the carbs 2X all ready and looks like i will be doing it again. i got a new fuel filter that goes in the tank cause i am figuring the fiter is starting to come apart.
