1980 Enticer 300 no spark

Ran last winter but a little rough. This year nothing. Changed the ignition coil and cdi. Nothing. Checked for continuity at stator wires and there's none with the brown wire. The other three do. Checked the key switch, handlebar switch and tether switch, they are good. Any ideas? Does this sled have points?

no it does not have points. new spark plug caps? compression test? try re-grounding the base plate of the motor to the sled frame. had to do that with dad's et250.

Thanks for help. Swapped stator plates with another one and all is well.

Did you change the charging coil , inside the flywheel ?
