I've been searching on the internet for yamaha OEM parts. I figured that I'd likely find one of the site sponsors to have pretty good prices. It seems that about a 15-16% discount from list is pretty standard. Anyone find prices lower? Has anyone used www.boats.net? Their prices seem to be the best by far.

but buy the time you pay shipping and wait the normal 2 - 3 days for them to receive the parts and then ship them to you(assuming the parts have to be ordered) its not worth it. i use these places in the off months because the few extra days does not matter or if the part is on the shelf.OnDaTrail said:I've been searching on the internet for yamaha OEM parts. I buy local when I can. I'll even spend a little more to do so but,
If your local yami dealer is lame like mine...
weak service, stocks nothing, short hours, only interested in you if you laying out for a new sled, boats.net is a good alternative. The prices really are lower and compared to other online vendor the shipping is quite reasonable, sometimes a wash with sales tax.

I usually buy from CB Performance (site vendor on here) and have had good experience with them. My dealer stocks almost nothing so I have to wait either way, and even with shipping it's cheaper to buy from CB. Another good place to go is South Seattle Sports Plaza online, they have the cheapest prices I have ever seen but shipping is more expensive and not as quick. If I have a bunch of parts to get and am not in a hurry I go there.
I talked a local dealer into matching these prices + shipping and tax. All I had to do was find the parts I needed put them in the cart until I had everything then print the page. Also print the shipping prices. Then bring it with you tell them you would like to keep your money local.
