Peak Performance Head

yes they do. but they are $50. cheaper at mountain performance for the same thing. i am really interested to hear from those who have them as to whether or not they are worth the money. :2strokes:

I've got one and so far I like it. I left the factory gaskets intact and went with the smaller cc chaimbers to add some compression and the sled "snaps" to life when you hit the loud lever. No problems so far been 2 years.

I have been told that the Peak heads are "hot" heads because the squish is a little tight on the design, it is an easy fix if you have a lathe and know what/how much to remove but I think if you don't jet it real lean you should be okay.

Sorry, I dont have the head I sold it last year.
Yes, I believe the domes are 20cc(158-160 psi), you can exchange the domes or request larger domes if you want, I ordered right from peak and they told me that they would exchange for different domes in the range that I was looking for-as long as the motor was not run, IF you order from MPI make it clear what size domes you are looking for if you want bigger then 20cc.
Jetting is 50 pilots, 160 or 165 mains as I am still dialing it in(plus I misplaced my smaller jets), would hope to get back to around 152.5 or 153.8. It not to bad on fuel right now and the plugs are black/doesn't hesitate when I hit the flipper.

What is wrong with your head? Dings and dents from broken rings?? Is the cylinder hurt? Now is the time to port that monster of yours...;) JK

I am working an a direct fit boost bottle kits for the Vipers, SRX's and Sx-r's, NOT using any make shift intakes/spacers to make it work. T

i am looking into porting. going to make a few calls monday. the cylinder is trash. i need 1 of those as well.

Send me your cyls and I'll port them, I PROMISE I WILL NOT wreck them. If you call call Mickeys sleds and more in Bay City they exchange them, shoot you may even have someone closer who exchanges them, I called millenium technologies when I needed one last spring and it was cheaper to deal locally...
You may want to also try slicks salvage in mason, or Mt.Plesant cycle salvage. T
