I'd like to move my throttle lever up about 2" will this mess up my tors? The angle that it is on right now makes my hand go numb after a while.

you can rotate the throttle perch quite a way without affecting the cables. i run mine a little loose so i can adjust on the fly. just back out the set screw a bit untill minor effort is needed to rotate perch.

The TORS should only be affected by the tightness of the cable itself, not the housing (of course if you get the housing too tight, it can pull the end out). The TORS itself is activated by 2 switches, one at the carbs and one at the throttle flipper. The pivot point of the throttle flipper must depress the switch before the carb switch gets activated or the TORS will be activated. As long as the throttle flipper pivot pin slides toward the center of the sled when the throttle is first pressed, you should be good.

Just check for a little play in the throttle cable after you are done moving it.
