Hello, was wondering if anyone can give the simplest detailed directions on how to shim a ski? I am a real newbie, and dont even know how to remove a ski, can someone give detailed instructions on what I use, and where this goes? maybe even if you can post some pics? also, im not sure if what is happeneing is called darting, it seems like when I go aprox over 25 mph, the sled will jump left and right, if I go real fast like 55mph, this gets downright dangerous sometimes, it kicks side to side sometimes...Is this considered darting? I understand I can also play w/the rear suspension to help this, but I would rather try the shims first..I thank you, Pete

how to shim....

Do yourself a favor... i debated this issue forever for my 700sx and to a lesser extent my '03 Viper... in the end, i purchased Woody's duallys'...... Just like that the darting is Gone... the original Dually's on the SX and the newer version on the Viper.... quick, simple, and effective....
Although it does cost more...

just my 2 cents...

belt

from reading some threads, I understand that a old belt works great for this? if so, from also reading this board, you cut about a 1.5 inch of belt, and where does this go? I understand the bottom of the rubber stop, but does it go on the front of the stop(towards the front of sled) or the rear of this stop? and last, whats the best way to attach this belt? Just a stainless steel screw? or do I need a nut and bolt? sorry about all these questions, but Im going on a long ride tomorrow, and want to help with the darting tomorrow..thanks, Pete
