Mixing HP Injector with Interceptor?

I currently run HP Injector in my 600 NPV, but now I can get Interceptor cheaper than my HP Injector. Is it alright to top off with the Interceptor? I know we're not suppose to mix oils, but I figure they're both synthetic so it shouldn't be too bad (maybe I'm just naive). I just don't want to have to be out on a trip and be out of oil because I couldn't top off. I know you guys are sick of oil questions, but thanks for the help. Drew.

It will be fine and I've done it many times on trips when I could only find one.Amsoil is easy to find at pit stops, but not always the HP.I've ran all three flavors and I like the smell of the race oil but don't think its needed in a trail sled plus it cost more.I have even mixed yamalube with amsoil and its no problem.

I'm only running the Interceptor because I can get 4 gallons at $28 a piece, rather than the HP at $33/gallon. It's only a few bucks, but I'm a broke college student.

I'm getting it from a buddy who's gotten it through an Amsoil dealer up here. If it wasn't for the price, I'd stick with what I'm already using.

wow! 28 a gallon for a 4 gallons? im a dealer and i dont even get it that cheap. My price after tax picking it up at the warehouse in superior wi is like $29.84

Thats because you are not far enough up on the pyramid to get a better price.

If you start buying by the train load..your price will drop also.

Swede, where are you at in Northern Michigan? I'm from Harbor Springs, I'm just attending school here in the north.
I'm from Grayling and am very familar with Harbor Springs as my uncle lives in the Petoskey area.My brother-in-law also has a cabin just outside of Baraga and we ride from there sometimes. It sure is awsome riding up there is'nt it?I enjoy the riding in the northern lower, but the western up blows everything else away in my opinion.

I miss riding in the lower peninsula. Of course the riding is awesome up here, but I miss the really tight and fast twistys of back home.
