how about the spi coated pistons? anyone here use them and how do they last? they are not forged and look exactly like the oem with the same casting # and marks on the underside but are coated on the skirts and dome. i think it is a teflon coating but i am not sure.

Pistons
Go with the SPI coated pistons. I have had nothing but burndowns with Wisecos and have switched to the SPI's and have had nothing but riding time after that!! If ya can't afford OEM from your dealer go with the SPI's.
