I noticed that my factory ski's sit with the back of the ski up in the air and started to read up on darting issues which I also have, so I decided to put on some plastic ski's to save some weight and have read the great articles on here about shimming the saddle on the ski's, my question is there anything else I need to do besides the shimming for a proper fit of the attack ski's?

Just so you know, you're going to lose 1.25" of ground clearance with those skis if you have the stock trailing arms and spindles on there still. This is a link to a thread about Yamaha skis.

thanks, I figured I would loose a little, that's not too bad,I have the VMAX XT so it sits pretty high already, and I have switched the shocks out to 02 viper shocks (the stiff aggressive ones) so I am not worried about nose diving with it, just did not want to have a fit issue.
