Had the kids riding today in the yard and my son tells me the viper is making a weird noise. I get on it and it sounds like something is rattling around in the skid. I stop and look under. Didn't find anything. I went to get my uncle and when we came back we found a spot of oil about 2-1/2" back from where the can comes out. I got it in the garage thawing out. Any idea's what I should look for?

Easy fix...Check the tech section..but just need to pull the chaincase, replace bearing and seal... reinstall chaincase... should only take about 1 hour, and you can still make the demo rides. May want to check the jackshaft and speedo side bearings too.

How do you get the chain case off from the brake caliper. Found out my tension bolt completeley worked its way out and the tensioner broke some of the chain and put a hole in the inner case. How do I get the case off?

pics of some of the damage. I left the sled and most parts at my wife's work. Heated shop ,they work on cars ;)!
