So I'm cleaning up the Ovation and putting in a rebuilt motor in it. That was accomplished today. I had to replace about 10' of gas and oil lines. I still have more I could and probably will when I have more. Just down stream from the gas shutoff there is a T. One line continues onto fuel pump. I understand that. The other leg is smalled and goes over to a small nipple on the oil pump. I'm guessing the large nipple is the oil supply line. I understand that. What does this smaller line do? I didn't have a 3-way with the small end do I ran a majority of the way to the oil pump with larger line and then transitioned at the end to the smaller. Is this an issue? What does this line do? The oil pump is a gear driven unit so it's not like a pulse line. Does the oil pump syphon fuel too?

It's the oil supply line. Don't know if the size matters now...
