I trailered my 2000 SRX up to Hurley/Ironwood over the weekend. I had a blast but had some persistent warning lights that kinda dampened my enthusiam. The first set of lights (both the oil and temp light)was a series of 7 blinks which I believe was for the hand warmers. I turned the ignition to on (no hand warmers) but the lights would come and go...always seven blinks. The second issues on higher speed runs, say above 80mph, i would get a seemingly random blinking of the oil/temp lights (they would blink together) which would go away if i backed off a little. The sled ran fine, no breaking up and the plugs looked rich if anything so I'm fairly confident I wasn't detonating. Also, for those of you familiar with the Lake in the Clouds area, the high speed trails leading up to the overlook were great. The sled ran like a top and made plenty of power, easily getting up to 105 or so (and in doing so embarrassing my overconfident buddy on his Polaris 600 ;)! )

Just did a little more research...turns out the idiot tech at the Yamaha dealer in Hurley gave me wrong info...7 blinking lights means ypvs problem...gonna pull em out and check, although i checked them when I first bought the sled and they looked good.
