Hey all, I just found this place and thought I'd come say hey. I just bought a 2002 Viper. I had an 87 Phazer that was pretty much a basket case except for the motor. After my first "good ride" it was time to thing about getting a new one so I some how threw together 2300.00 bucks for this 02 and the guy I bought it from turned me on to this forum. I'm in Ohio (wilmington) and were getting some decent snow right now. I put about 40 miles on it today and LOVE it!!! I ride a KTM 300 in the summer. I'll surf around a bit before I start asking questions that have already been answered.

It sounds like the viper is a tad cleaner than the phazer you had.

Don't let the Mod Bug bite you. Surfing around here increases the likelyhood of that happening by several orders of magnitude. You will be stripped of any excess cash that you have, and will be constantly taking your sled apart.
