Is there one? I'm a bigger guy (6" 250lbs) and the lack of suspension I'm experiencing on my SRX 700 has me wanting to dial it in to my weight. I watched the pro action tuning video but it doesn't really give any specs or direction regarding tuning for heavier riders. Any thoughts?

Link Doesn't Work

I'm willing to but someone some beer for a copy. I downloaded one from the other thread and it has no sound?

here is a link to download the video .... http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/2387064/16522640/you will need to download http://www.utorrent.com/ to download this and you will need http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ to watch the video ....i also have the paper book that goes into detail on adjustments ...but i havent uploaded it cause i got to run it thru the scanner to get it on the puter ...and i dont think i can email it due to size .....but last year i was doing file transfer thru yahoo messanger to send the video so if you want get ahold of me with a yahoo messanger screen name and i can start doing so again and hope i will have the paper book ready to send both together .....

even with the proper tuning I think you will need to upgrade to a heavier spring.... if its not absolutely necessary you will get a better more true performance out of the suspension and I think you'll be much happier in the end!!!

I'd agree. The op is on the heavy side of the spec for the OEM springs.

I have the tuning manual but no way of scanning it.

I believe the shop manual has part numbers for heavier springs along with tuning info as it relates to rider weight.

Also, if the skid hasn't been out for service I'd recommend BeTheViper's susp tips. A worn out/broken pro-action is un-tunable.

Could someone please hand out the data for the different models?

I have a VT700 1998 and would like to adjust my suspension properly, but I don't have the exact specifications for i.e. the control rods, the front suspension and ski adjustments.

Hey. I know this is a very old post but you wouldn’t happen to have that scanned file of the proaction suspension tuning manual still?
