Hi guys. We are planning on heading to the UP the end of March for spring break but are wondering what some good places to stay at are. We want to go the west side of the state and were thinking about Peppermill but wanted to see if there are any other suggestions. We would really like to have access to a hot tub. Group of 6 or more.

yea...the 3 girlfriends want the hot tub. And my cousin that rides a cat...go figure. We are leaning towards a house over the casino in Watersmeet because food would be cheaper.

I am hoping there will still be a good amount of snow for my spring break trip as well. I think we are staying at The Bluff apartments.

When are you heading up that way? We are going March 25-29 if there is still snow. Does the snow seem to stay around longer in the Munising area? Just looking for a backup plan.

I believe its the same dates I will have to double check.

Yup its the same, well mine starts on the 21st til the 29th.

I think we're going to end up staying at the Peppermill but I'm not 100% sure yet. Some of the group wants to stay at the casino...but thats not my first choice. Do you do any off trail riding or mainly stay on the trail?

the casino in Watersmeet is very nice, they give you about half you room rate back in cash for gambling(you can keeo it) 5 bucks for gas. and the hot tub is big enough for me and 15 women. LOL Maxdlx

Does the casino have a continental breakfast? What is there for food in that area? I'm very familiar with the Ironwood area but have only been to Watersmeet a couple times.

There is a denny's like resteraunt right at the motel. You get a certificate for the beffet or you used to. There are some nice localMom Pop placesto eat too. Maxdlx
