I have a 97 Vmax 700sx. I picked up a ripsaw 1.25" with only a few hundred miles on it for dirt cheap (buddy totaled his sled). My question is will this track fit my sled. It is not studded and I dont have any future plans to add them. So should I run it? or sell it and keep looking.

It should be just fine!!!! You are going to have to see if it rubs on the tunnel protectors and do a little trimming on the track 1/8 to a 1/4"......oh and in line with the heat exchanger protectors if you have them!! I don't think you do though!

Im not sure if it has protectors or not...have yet to tear it down, but I put a nice tear in the stocker, so its time to replace it. I have just seen so many different opinions on what will work, and really havent seen anything for my specific sled (but I suck at searching). Last thing I wanna do is wreck a perfectly good track just to ride the sled...then I would be out a track and riding time.

I ran one in my 97 worked great.Your sled didnt come with protectors but maybe someone put some in.You can just trim the rubber by the track window instead of removing protectors. The ripsaw is very easy to do that to.

I have a 97 XTC 600. I just put a 1.25 ripsaw on and it's good, except I have to eliminate the ratcheting. No modifications necessary. Might need anti ratcheting drivers?
