Reviving my old 1993 Exciter SX. Here's my set up;
1993 SX motor (stock).
Twin PSI pipes, ceramic coated and exhaust wrap.
Dual Digitron EGT's
PSI states that I make 104 HP @ 8000RPM.
I have Mountain max clutch's with a SLP 40/48 adjustable spring tension helix. 2001 SRX secondary on the way with a Bender Helix.
Going to be adding a AD Boivin skid as soon as I get a chance.
I have the primary set up so I pull 8000-8100 RPM mainly.
I put in Wahl Bros 8 tooth anti ratchet drivers (9 tooth down to eight tooth).
I have 18 X 33 gearing.
Proper engine alignment, I run the jetting so my EGT's 1200-1300 degree's so the jetting looks to be on. She will wheelie out of the hole but tops out @ 117 kph or so (GPS speed).
What gears should I run for general ditch bang'n?
