Picked up a skid out of an 97 Vmax 700 MM and currently own a 97 Vmax 700 Sx...may sound dumb, but what will I have to modify to bolt that skid in besides a longer track obviously. Will I have to move the mounting plates in the tunnel or will it swap in? Also who is the best place to get a tunnel extension kit from...so far in my searching it looks like hartman?
The front holes are the same. The middle and rear will need to be drilled as most of the extra length on the 136 is in the middle of the rail and not on the end like on a rail exteinsion.
Hartman makes nice stuff.

Thanks for the response...but will I be able to leave the plates riveted where they are or will I have to move the whole assembly back? I dont plan on doing this until spring since the snow is still flyin around here, but I want to start collecting parts to do the job right.
I also noticed the mountain max had drop plates for the rear skid mounts, Im assuming I will have to install those on mine to get the right skid angle?

Would anyone happen to have the measurements for the middle and rear mount holes for this setup? Even somewhere I could find the right bolt centers?
